The website was originally envisaged as a collated source of information associated only with Antique Model Aircraft. However, very soon after I commenced 'production' it became obvious that I posses a significant amount of information that, while not strictly 'aircraft' related, may be of interest to you. A large proportion of the content originates from the models and memorabilia that were formerly part of the collection assembled by Lieutenant Commander Alwyn Greenhalgh RN, FRAeS, CEng MIMechE. Sadly, 'The Commander' (as I knew him) passed away before he was able to catalogue much of the material involved. Consequently, there are copious quantities of photographs, articles and letters that have no explanatory notes accompanying them. There is also some photographic content of a more nautical origin - As might have been expected from a Naval Officer. You can 'click' on most photographs to see them 'Full Size' I need YOUR help! I do not claim that all the information contained within the site to have been verified as totally correct. As you browse the site, YOU may recognise errors or be able to IDENTIFY People, Places and Occasions.
