Lieut. Cmdr. Alwyn Greenhalgh - Album 2 - Page 3
London Aero Models Association![]() LAMS First public flying day - 1921 at Parliament Hill
"Modern Boy"![]() The writing on this picture simply states "Modern Boy" expert "Rigby". Leigh Richardson informs me that on the Right is Wallace Rigby and that the models are made from thin card!
F. P. Boreham![]() A note on this photograph simply states
'F P Boreham 1966'. You will also find a picture of him on Page 1. This is confirmed as Frances Borehan who specialised in rotating wing models. |
Willis - Either Dad or Son!![]() There were two gentlemen called 'Willis' who both had the same initial 'A'. They were Father and Son. It is reported that the Son, Tony, was killed during the Second World War and that after this his Father never recovered his enthusiasm.
Willis![]() The caption in the album simplay states 'Willis'. I suspect the this and the preceeding one are of the Father.
