S. R. ('Sammy') Crow

I do not have much information about 'Sammy' Crow but he was certainly a member of Blackheath Model Flying Club at one time. His brother, Sid Crow, kindly sent me a copy of Frank Zaic's 1935-36 Model Aeronautics Year Book that once belonged to Sam.
Picture
A very poor quality picture, but the only one that I have at present. 'Sammy' Crow, 1938, Fairey's.

Picture
Crow designed 'Fairy Facula'. This aircraft once won a prize in the U.S.A. as a scale model as they confused 'Fairy' with 'Fairey'!

I believe this to be Sammy Crow on the right of the picture. Bert Judge (1936 Wakefield Cup winner) is next to him.

Picture
Sam Crow is standing, first on the left at the back. You can read more about this picture here.

Picture
This is Sam Crow's original autogiro of 1934. It was renovated by Alwyn Greenhalgh

Picture
Another Sammy Crow design from 1936.
Picture
Found in a box of memorabilia marked 'S.R. Crow' but no other documents to prove this to be a Sammy Crow original.
