Alex Houlberg (M.B.E.) was another 'Gentleman' member of the model fraternity. He had a record of service to model aviation that was unequalled by anyone. He was Chairman of the S.M.A.E. continuously for 25 years and it is reported that he was naturally addressed as 'Mr. Houlberg' by everyone! He died on December 1st 1963.
This is another original, restored model. The fuselage is covered in 1/32 inch balsa. The model still flys beautifully.

This is one of the oldest ORIGINAL models that I have. As you can see, the silk covering is in a very poor state of repair but I have elected to leave it as it is for the sake of originality
