This is Pavely's famous 'Fairy Queen' of 1920. The model is original but was restored by Alwyn Greenhalgh. Inside the fuselage is a wire wound thin wall brass cylinder that has domed end caps and a 'tie' rod running from front to back. Up to 150 psi was applied to this cylinder when the aircraft was in regular use but I only use about 30 psi - to demonstrate the motor turning that beautiful propeller.

I believe 'Ayesha' was another 'Queen' to follow the first one! Construction was similar to Fairy Queen described above.

It's interesting to see how this model was developed from 'Fairy Queen'. Video used only 17.5 psi pressure. 150 psi must have been .. interesting!
