Donald Stevenson
|
Donald Stevenson is rightly included as part of this website although his fascinating accomplishments cover much more than model aircraft alone. Model designer and manufacturer, experimental engineer, lecturer, associations with pioneer aviators such as Claude Grahame-White, association with entertainment magic elements (incuding Escapologist - Houdini), Automobile and aircraft entrepreneur etc. etc.
Donald Stevenson was born 26th April 1882 in Highbury, London and I believe he lived until 1970
For many years Stevenson collected the autographs of interesting aviators that he met - Particularly during his time at Hendon with Claude Grahame-White. Some truly AMAZING entries! Click here or button above.
